Roy,my wonderful brother, just 11 months older than me,gone but will never be forgotten. We grew up in Norfolk & as young children we had a very happy upbringing. As we lived only a stonesthrow from our Grandads farm that's where we played.Yes,things were very different then, not much dangerous machinery so we were allowed to run & play wherever we wanted, happy days.We always had great fun when our cousins came to stay, sleeping on the bedroom floor so the adults could have the beds, such happy memories.Roy loved his fishing which he got into when he was very young & that stayed with him throughout his life.I can remember going to Lowestoft pier as a family & I had a crab net,he had a rod,he always kept an eye on what I was doing & quite often telling me what I was doing wrong,I didn't mind as he always did it in a careing way..That was Roy,kind, gentle, honest, loyal & always very helpful,I feel so lucky & proud he is my brother, yes IS,as I feel him with me all the time.Love & miss him so much...Maureen xxx
