Roy Clarke, known as Roy

Roy was a lovely, kind, genuine, loyal, reliable and great person to know. He was my father. Also a father to my brother, Gary, Grandad to my kids, Jade, Tayla and Brandon. Son to the late Sid & Esther, and brother to Maureen and Wendy. A very much missed part of all his family and friends lives. Left a big hole no one will ever fill. Taken too soon by Oesophageal cancer. xxxxx Dad always loved my mum, and no one ever took her place. I am glad they were the best of friends and mum was there for him too, throughout his illness. Special friends will miss him dearly. Rex and Ray were great friends he made through work. He spent years working as an automotive glazier technician. (window screen fitter) He meant a lot to a lot of people. He'll always be remembered for his great sense of humour. Loved his mail order shopping for gadgets! Coopers, Brightlife and Readers Digest's favourite customer I think! :-) He loved sea fishing, doing Sudoku, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and had an interest in gardening. Great at fixing things and DIY. Dad loved his food! Loved making sausage casserole and Shepherds pie. I wanted to set this trust fund up in memory of Dad to honour and celebrate his life. So people can donate on special occasions like his birthday or Christmas, to St. Elizabeth Hospice, who's help and support for Dad at home in the last few weeks of his life, was brilliant and much appreciated. If anyone wants to do any fundraising events too, it would all be to a great cause in Dads memory. Any fundraising helps, from cake sales to running a marathon! This is a lasting way to remember Dad and can be a great comfort to us all. Xx
